The new owners of this five building medical office complex in Fairfield County wanted to explore cost effective options to upgrade the building image.  JL Architects proposed a simplification of the building volumes, horizontal plank siding and contrasting metal trim at new windows and doors.  The existing entrance ramp and stairs would be reconfigured while new plantings and hardscape at the building entrance provide an entrance plaza.
